Parody Song Title:

"God Rest Ye, Oscar Madison"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

In memoriam, Jack Klugman, 1922-2012.
God rest ye, Oscar Madison.
Let nothing you dismay.
Remember all those laughs we will
in role of Klugman play.
To save us all from laughter's lack
when we have gone astray.
Oh, program of comfort and joy.
Comfort and joy.
Oh, program of comfort and joy.

You were one of Twelve Angry Men.
The one who knew the knife.
A trumpet man on Twilight Zone
with second chance at life.
And Quincy, L.A. coroner
who'd solve murder of wife.
Oh, programs of comfort and joy.
Comfort and joy.
Oh, programs of comfort and joy.

God rest ye, Oscar Madison.
Let nothing you dismay.
Remember Felix Unger
will clear your trash away.
Just save that soul from sinus power
when nose has gone astray.
Oh, program of comfort and joy.
Comfort and joy.
Oh, program of comfort and joy.

A great actor. I remember "Quincy" and "Odd Couple". Always identified with Oscar.

We'll always remember Jack and Tony (and for that matter Walter and Jack L.), but were you aware that the original Felix on Broadway (opposite of Matthau) was none other than Art Carney? Good job. ;D
