Little creak, friggin' hell, now my good mood's turned into a downer
My feet cannot tread light so now I'm stuck, it seems
With the pain of the floor ratchetin' up all my paranoia
That each time trampling will make it give way under me

I'm not steppin' around, it's too far
To get to where I need to, I am thinkin' that I'm screwed
Can't not walk on that spot, that's too hard
Feels like floor's bein' rude, I just wanna freely move

This is why I'm a carpet fiend, that or floor tiles are best, zero worries
That you'll end up with stupid squeaks with ev'ry time you take steps
Fault for this designer fail ain't mine, it's mainly who built this apartment
If I built a house, won't fail to ban wooden floors, they'd be for doors

I'm not "kiddin' around" or "too harsh"
Hate when wooden floors get used, I don't want noise 'neath my shoes
