The Lyrics

Plot Summary for "Mr. Sardonicus" (1961): A search for a winning lottery ticket in his dead father's grave causes Sardonicus' face to freeze in a horrible grimace, until he forces a doctor to treat his affliction--with even more grotesque results! The audience gets an opportunity to vote--via the "Punishment Poll"--for the penalty Sardonicus must pay for his deeds...
This is the very motel in which Norman Bates erred, went mental.
He kept his old scuffed toys, old dead stuffed mom; boy was sentimental.
To Janet he gave a sandwich, which was just barely edible.
He was a bad boy, mad boy; the lad's coy and a tad oedipal.

He'd like to slack off from the whacking and grab a sabbatical,
But when he's stirred by a girl, the urge to stab is emphatical.
Too bad that mom is gone because from her room she'd have got a view
Of Universal's lot, where Hitchcock made "Plot". . .got rotten reviews.

Of Universal's lot, where Hitchcock made "Plot". . .got rotten reviews.
Of Universal's lot, where Hitchcock made "Plot". . .got rotten reviews.

Such behavior! Mom's cadaver summons him like a succubus.
He needs a Chucky* to do his evil deeds. . .a homunculus.
It's short that Norman falls every time he attempts to bed a gal.
To him, sex is a hex; he feels like a rex who was oedipal.

It's short that Norman falls every time he attempts to bed a gal.
To him, sex is a hex; he's vexed like a rex who was oedipal.

Though mom's sent off, her coffin's not got her in it to share the box.
Now Norman doffs Brooks Brothers togs and dons her locks and shares her frocks.
His hobby's taxidermy; it's with birds he learned nest pals to stuff.
He'd graduate, mat[e]riculate, and then shape his best gal to stuff.

Mater's grave, not pater's, his fixation, far from Sardonicus.
A swampy grave for Janet Leigh, bathed, then in car sarcophagus.
He did his best to keep ma fresh, but he'd not worked on skin afore.
He'll dress in her best vestments Sunday; Monday, skirt and pinafore.

He'll dress in her best vestments Sunday; Monday, skirt and pinafore.
He'll dress in her best vestments Sunday; Monday, skirt and pinafore.
He'll dress in her best vestments Sunday; Monday, skirt and pinafore.

There's no sashay, he don't look gay garbed in matronly uniform,
And you could say that it's outré, but in his way, it is the Norm.
It's short that Norman falls every time he attempts to bed a gal.
To him, sex is a hex; he's vexed like a rex who was oedipal.

It's short that Norman falls every time he attempts to bed a gal.
He's impotent, unrepentant, and relentlessly oedipal.

The mystery of 40 Gs' location's not unravelin',
So a slick dick goes to the sticks, and questions starts a-babblin'.
He prates at Norm, who's in great form at first, but then gets wary that
The slick dick will trick him; get a fix on where Janet's buried at.

So with a knife he'll take his life; Norm won't resort to gunnery,
Because each time he tries, he fires blanks (that is some rank punnery).
The detective sought the defective; what'd that guy Arbogast see?
Transvestite with whetted knife set to slice beyond rhinoplasty.

Transvestite with whetted knife set to slice beyond rhinoplasty.
Transvestite with whetted knife set to slice beyond rhinoplasty.
Transvestite with whetted knife set to slice beyond rhinoplasty.

Norman's abnormal; should he be stuffed in the penitentiary,
Or assigned to asylum, where he can girl or gentleman be?

He'd shirk work, lurk, and jerk--no spurt--toy-with-it boy'd give head a pull.
Norm is a lurker and a jerker; boy's a voyeur; head is full
Of thoughts of mom whom he'd "popped" as a tot, which wrought him oedipal.
Inside asylum, he cries for mom and wets till the bed is full.

This was not one of the better ones. Although I did once try to write a "Major General" parody with the word "sardonical" in it. It didn't work.
