Original Song Title:

"La Marseillaise"

Original Performer:

French National Anthem

Parody Song Title:

"The Bouillabaisse"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

English translation of grammatically incorrect French version
Let’s go, you fish who live in the sea—
It now has come: catching you time.
Fighting our lines is futility:
Our mighty rods risen, you’ll find,
With lines to scoop you from the brine.
You’ll then find yourself in bouillabaisse.
These fish will form a great supper,
Pulled from the deep over scuppers,
And will not be disgraced by mayonaisse!
Leave your transportation
For alimentation.
Eat and drink up
Blood-colored wine
To irrigate your guts.

Enjoyed your French Version as well, JAB! Never had bouillabaise before and I don't think I never will. I enjoy French cuisine and am a fish eater, but I don't think that I would eat bouillabaise anytime soon, unless I go to France. Fishing you more 5's!
