JAB - Is it a coincidence that Newt's new "lifelong goal" was first articulated on the space coast of Florida? Mind you, I'm just asking. ;D
Funny-555! The whole space moon project was ridiculous back in the 1930s and 40s with Nazi Germany. Reminds me of how Hitler until 1944 kept inquiring of von Braun how long it would take to build an armed space station 4000 miles out!!! This, coming at a time when the V-2 and latter A-9 were just coming along...!
This moon colony idea has been around for a long time. His "lifelong goal" is whatever he thinks he can use to sway American Idiots to support his selfish schemes. When we do establish a lunar base everyone can face planet Earth and give Newt the finger and one big collective razzberry.
