Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

“The Trouble with Harry” (1955), art direction by John B. Goodman. Various people in a Vermont town think they killed Harry, who’s found lying dead on the ground. Black humor in brilliant autumn-leaves Technicolor.
Trouble. . .Harry, trouble. . .Harry
Is lying there dead; it’s time to bury
Him. . .he’s gonna molder
If scavengers don’t snack his shoulder.

Trouble. . .Harry, trouble. . .Harry.
Despite the dead dude, everyone’s[1] merry,
But some yokel gentry
Decide: time for Harry’s earth entry.

Die, die, die. Three think they killed him,
But, that’s illusion.
Try, try, try do they to cover up—
Thus the confusion.

Trouble. . .Harry: doubled, Harry,
Over from causes that were not scary.
Nature took its toll there—
It’s time to put him in the hole there.

[1]Among them, John Forsythe (one role on “Alfred Hitchcock Presents”; Michael Nordstrom in “Topaz”) and Edmund Gwenn (Rowley in “Foreign Correspondent,” one role in “Alfred Hitchcock Presents”)

Thought this was going to be about Prince Harry, as best man at brother, William's wedding...but yet, another fine Hitchcock connection parody....I'm amazed at how you are able to research all this Hitch movie and tv film information...and then still write and submit all these parodies..do you have a dozen gremlin helpers?..or do you ever sleep?

Many thanks, AFW. I had the advantage here of having seen many of these flicks, though I had to get quite a few from Netflix. I've been submitting to amiright for nearly seven years and I've found that I have a developed a facility for cranking 'em out quickly--quality aside. Any time a title pops into my head, I bang out the parody.

You might shoot from the hip, but quality wise, I think you still do a bang up job of hitting the targets
