The Lyrics

Is that you Hagrid, you sound quite strange?
Oh just friends of Hagrid asking many questions.
Well let me see if I can explain what I know.

You won't believe me
But I was once a wee spider for sale.
Hagrid bought me and made me his pet,
which was just fine with me.

Then something happened, and I was blamed
They said I was a monster and had to die.
Hagrid fought to save me as I escaped Scott free.

So I chose freedom
Ran to the Dark Forest
And I grew to the size of a big Cadillac
So that is my story to you.

Don't flee from me friends of Hagrid
The truth is my family is starving.
You entered into my lair
You look so tasty
And we're so hungry
Please stay for dinner.

I know what you're thinking, but there's no escape.
Besides I never invited in.
You are surrounded so you might as well give in.

Make no illusions
I don't normally make negotiations with my food.
Perhaps if you knew that cute Shelob.
Then we could make a deal.

Don't flee from me friends of Hagrid
The truth is my family is starving.
You entered into my lair
You look so tasty
And we're so hungry
Please stay for dinner

Have I said too much?
Quick get them my pretties! Our dinner is running away!
Hey nobody told me they had a flying car.
Oh darn, they got away.

Kim.

This one really worked for me. I like how you wrote it from the perspective of a minor (but memorable) character. 444

Hi Agrimorfee. I suspect you like this song more than the others because the original song is more like dialogue. Evita almost does a monologue rather than sing this piece. My strength in writing has always been dialogue, which is what most people seem to like when they read one of my stories.

Well done Kim, I need to catch up on the rest of your Potter parodies

Thank you Jeff, and I would recommend "Old Professor Dumbledore" to you. So far people seem to like that one. I had to double check to see if you had not reviewed it yet. You see there was a Jeff Hingle that had, and I did not wish to mistake the two of you.
