Original Song Title:

"Bye-bye, Blackbird."

Original Performer:

Ella Fitzgerald

Parody Song Title:

"Bye-Bye, Gov'nor"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

Gotta pack up, split yer lair for ho',
Spitzer, go, slinkin' low,
Bye-bye, gov'nor.

Now knob-palpitate--that's free;
Silda, peeved, zipped the "V,"
Pie, fie: uxor.

No more dears to love or "understand" him,
'cause the hard-cash dumb-shmuck blunder canned him.

In a hotel, night delight,
He, she-homed; pay not slight.
Shtupper, bye, bye.

Gotta pack up, split yer lair for ho',
There ya go, Spitz, ya schmoe,
Bye-bye, glum jerk.

You'd not fornicate for free;
Dropped C notes--forty-three,
Bye-bye. . .got scourged.

No more dears to love or "understand" him,
No more hards cached in an underhand quim.

Made his bed. . .caused his own plight,
From Albany, take flight.
Dumb jerk, bye-bye.

Some difficult words here but I'll give you your props. (Are you Jewish, because methinks I see more than a few Yiddish words here!) I'll suppose Ella threw some extra syllables into the first lines of the stanzas in her version of the OS. Nice job. 5-5-5.
