When you’re up, coffee’s in your cup, you have had your scrub, but you’re still quite lethargic,
Oh, good grief, there’s no time to breathe, you must brush your teeth, or your breath smells like garlic
When you just want to run, being late is not fun, that’s a Monday.
When you don’t move your car and your work is so far, that’s just wrong.
When you must go to work after days of not working, not fun day,
And you want to go rest, but you must be your best, that’s a Monday.

When… the… knock hits your ears and you want to shed tears, that’s a Monday. (That’s a Monday)
When your mom has to yell, just as loud as a bell, that’s a Monday. (That’s a Monday)
Not an ease, five more minutes please, five more minutes please, when you want 2 more hours. (meet 8 hours, meet 8 hours)
But you can't, you just want to rant, you just want to rant, ‘cause you want to devour.
