Although snow is pretty to look at, it is a pain in the neck to shovel, and I despise it for that very reason. With that being said, here's a twist on a classic holiday tune, about a guy who escapes the cold New Jersey winter for a Christmastime trip to the tropics.
Oh, the weather in Jersey’s frightful
But the tropics are so delightful
St. Thomas is the place to go
‘Cause I hate snow, I hate snow, I hate snow!
I spent all of last night packing
In my luggage, there's nothing lacking
You outdid yourself this time, Joe

When I finally board my flight
Realize we can’t take off in the storm
The pilot tells us to just sit tight
‘Cause once we’re there, we’ll be warm
Though the journey has been quite trying
And not just from five hours of flying
