Get together for a barbecue
And watch the rockets fly.

Aunt Polly's such a joker
She thought she'd have some fun
Put kim chee in the chips and dips
It gave everyone the runs.
Oh, the flying of the flag
And the marching of the bands
Playing "Stars and Stripes Forever"
Airplanes fly above the land.

Uncle Solly had too much beer
It made him flatulent
He told us to pull his finger
Make a loud noise and a scent.
Oh, the sunflowers blooming
And the ravens in the sky
Making circles around the town
In sunshine of July.

Little Holly stuffed herself
She's such a silly fool
She jumped in and choked on a bug
And threw up in the pool.
Oh, the sizzling of the grill
And the beef is almost done
Alexander brought some caviar
And also brought his "buns".

Aunt Molly wags her finger
We eat too many carbs
So we'll barbecue Aunt Molly
We love the meat of crabs.
Let's roast the marshmallows
And enjoy the cherry pie
We'll fill up on potato salad
A turkey we will fry.

Angelina used the toilet
And the toilet overflowed
The guys found a suspicious object
A cherry bomb, I'm told.
Oh, the lowering of the flag
And the rising of the moon
They're playing Taps on the trumpet
Another Fourth has gone.
