| Original Performer: | Carly Simon |
| Parody Song Title: | "When The Moon Is Full After Twilight" |
| Parody Written by: | 2Eagle |
When the sun is high he is a normal guy
Just one of the guys at the gym
But when the sun is low and the moon's aglow
Something happens to him.
When the moon is full after twilight
And it rises high in the sky
You sit outdoors until the werewolves howl
And then you move your tail inside.
You bolt the doors and the windows
And still you hear the werewolves bay
In the wee small hours of the morning
You can't get to sleep 'till light of day.
Those nice people up the street with the children oh so sweet
Seem a wholesome family to be
But on a moonlit night they're apt to bite
They have lycanthropy.
When the moon is full in the evening
And your neighbors start to act strange
Mom and Dad and little werewolves too
Climb in the SUV to change.
They grow fangs and tails and get hairy
They terrorize the town
You lie awake 'till the sunrise
When that time of the month rolls around.
Just one of the guys at the gym
But when the sun is low and the moon's aglow
Something happens to him.
When the moon is full after twilight
And it rises high in the sky
You sit outdoors until the werewolves howl
And then you move your tail inside.
You bolt the doors and the windows
And still you hear the werewolves bay
In the wee small hours of the morning
You can't get to sleep 'till light of day.
Those nice people up the street with the children oh so sweet
Seem a wholesome family to be
But on a moonlit night they're apt to bite
They have lycanthropy.
When the moon is full in the evening
And your neighbors start to act strange
Mom and Dad and little werewolves too
Climb in the SUV to change.
They grow fangs and tails and get hairy
They terrorize the town
You lie awake 'till the sunrise
When that time of the month rolls around.

Great job on one of my favorite Sinatra tunes(Yes, I like that version better than Carly's). I was just starting to mull a Twilight parody myself. This was a great one!!!
Thanks, Mark. Carly's version was more suitable because she starts it with the interlude.
Great job, but I'll take Carly's lips over Frank's anyday. That's a great piece of writing.
Thanks, Jim. Doesn't that make you think of a certain neighborino on The Simpsons?
