"Cat'll See the Bay"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

I have a love/hate relationship with our cats. Exploring the latter.
That cat'll see the bay, the next time he craps
Right in my walking way, or barfs in my lap
I'll give him the big heave, that idiot pet
That cat'll see the bay-ay-ay and get wet

Well, he lays around a-shedding on my purple bedding
I get fur over everything and hairballs, too
Sometimes when I free him, for days I don't see him
Swear someday, well he'll be through

That cat'll see the bay, the next time he claws
Right in my walking way, and giving me pause
I'll give him the big heave, that idiot pet
That cat'll see the bay-ay-ay and get wet

(Instrumental of yowling and hissing)

Well, when nature made the cat, it created a brat
Had enough of that and all the flack
You sit with big eyes, lie just like a cat lies
Go away then you come back

That cat'll see the bay, the next time he howls
Right in my slumber way, or empties his bowels
I'll give him the big heave, that idiot pet
That cat'll see the bay-ay-ay and get wet

:-) I wondered if you'd get the reference, Rick- seeing as you've not left a comment here: http://www.amiright.com/parody/misc/traditional122.shtml

Phil, Phil, I did get the reference, you didn't pick up on mine. When Fat Freddy leaves his underwear on the bathroom floor, the cat "lays an egg" in them. When Freddie tries to put them on and shrieks in disgust the cat says "Such range, such timbre" If you want, I'll look up the issue number.

At the house I lived in at college we got The Furry Freak Brothers, and I think I might have seen a Fat Freddy or two at some point as well...hmm...memories of those times seem to be a bit foggy, hmm, I wonder why....

I had a girlfriend whose cat punished her once by clawing her waterbed when she left him alone one night. When she got angry he went outside and didn't come back for 3 days; after that he was the boss. I hated cats until I became a mailman. Anyway, very fun stuff here.

Rick, Rick.. of course I realized you got the reference from your comment - I thought I was subtly applauding your understated acknowledgement, while pointing out what I think is the only Freak Brothers parody at amiright (if you see what I mean).
