Fish splash, I'm takin' hake off Bath--
Long pole bobs; I have got a bite.
This rusty tub hauls in real ample sea grub;
Ink from squid is black as the night.
Walked the deck of this tub;
My feet went through the floor;
Captain rapped: "That's the 'deck' to you, and you
Know, left is "port." Someone cried:
"Fish gaff! Use the hook on your staff!"
And then screamed, "Thar she blows!"
There was a narwhal comin' on.

It was a splishin' and a splashin',
Steamin' through the sea 'n'
Movin', makin' grooves in,
Hove 'n' the boat's stove in.

Crash, bang--there was a whole gang
Of cetaceans stabbin' the tub.
Flip-flop the ship dipped in the chop;
Cap said, "Not a 'gang'; a 'pod,' landlub'!"
I heard the fallin' prop eddy down; we're screwed,
We're crawlin' then stallin' in the horse latitudes.
Forget the fish gaff, we're gonna take a bath;
We'd better get our life jackets on.

In sea we're rollin' and not trollin',
Squealin' and not reelin',
Pulin' while pod's schoolin';
We're splishin' and splashin', tread.

Pod and swabs splishin' and a-splashin',
Rollin' and a-shoalin'.

Yeah, we're a-moving and reproving,
And we are crabbin' at the captain;
We are a-shamin' and a-namin'
Him a lamebrain as down we're draining. . .splish, splash, glug.
