The Lyrics

Day 8 of the "25 Days of Christmas Parody" challenge. The whole "Elf on a Shelf" thing has always been creepy to why not go full Chucky with it? Original Song (though, I didn't realize this was originally done by Bing Crosby until after I had used the Dean Martin version)
Time to unbox, red and green box
A new friend with a smile
This guy marks the beginning of Christmas

On your mantle, friend of Santa’s
Think he’ll make your kids smile?
You’ll look up and see your greatest fear!

Killer elf
On a shelf
He’s come to life and he’s angry
Tiny thing
Chilling scream!
This is your last Christmas Day

Strands of bright lights, ‘round your wrists tight
Wielding sharp candy canes
Marshmallows fill your mouth for good measure

On your front walk, there’s a whole lot
They’re all pissed off and mean
Tiny bells are the last thing you’ll hear

Killer elves
Killer elves
Don’t say I didn’t give warning
Don’t believe? Wait and see -
This is your last Christmas Day
This is your last Christmas Day

Was this one of the songs you had to write around Halloween in order to make sure you had all 25 ready for December? Funny and wicked stuff!! Reminds me of an episode of The Simpsons where Maggie is terrified of the elf on the shelf
