The Lyrics

Have you seen those strange white streaks in the sky? Here's the original song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xygoDTrUMic
Chemclouds hang over me.
Nothing but chemclouds do I see.
Chemtrails, making me sick,
Spraying those chemtrails: it’s a trick!

They pretend that it’s…only contrails,
But we know why…the sky is pale.
Spray the stratosphere…all day and night:
Poisonous gas that we must fight!

(Those) chemtrails killing the earth,
Just so the greedy grow their worth.

Blue skies, where have you gone?
Nothing but chemclouds from now on!

Never saw the sky looking so dim!
Praying all day, praying to Him,
Begging for the skies I used to see:
Fluffy white clouds, chemical-free!

(Oh) blue skies, where have you gone?
Nothing but chemtrails…what a con.
Wish that those chemclouds…would move on…

Cleverly worded, e.g., "what a con"; but I would say that it's just "prop-aganda" (referring to an earlier form of prop-ulsion). I disagree that greed is the primary motivator for jet passenger travel, rather it is the prime vehicle for our freedom of mobility, allowing us not only pleasure and business but hopefully also familiarity with other cultures, so that someday Earth's inhabitants will be "one people" as progressives (who decry pollution) wish. 555

5s for the parody but 0 for the nonsense conspiracy theory. They are contrails, not chemtrails. There's a reason chemical spraying is done at low altitude and not high. At 20-30,000 ft where these PASSENGER, not military, planes are flying any disperal of any agent would be totally degraded to nothing before it ever reached the ground and there is no accurate targeting at that altitude. Chemical weapons are delivered by artillery and by bomb. Nothing from 25,000 ft will remain to make it low altitude. This crackpot nonsense has even been fraudulently spread by claiming a passenger jet filled with drums of liquid as proof. It was a civilian center of gravity test aircraft using water to simulate weight of passengers and cargo. Water was shifted internally to alter the CoG. If you gotta lie to support your beliefs, you are deranged.

Also, crop duster aircraft and helos spray mere feet off the ground while larger area Mosquito sprayer aircraft and firefighter aircraft drop at 150-200 ft! Spraying from 20,000 ft to 36,000 ft maximum by covert passenger jet or military converted transport is ludicrous. Drift alone would mean hundreds of miles off target and degradation would leave nothing left to reach the ground. Chemical and biological weapons arrive by shell or bomb. An aerosol weapon is possible, but would have to be altitude triggered. Waste of time.

I agree with Rob that the song flaunts a non-rational conspiracy theory. But this is a site that promotes satire as well as technical discussions, and the lyrics are a reasonably paced send-up of a delusion which may not be that uncommon. Rob, of course, is duly concerned about the effect of exhaust from military and commercial flights on atmospheric gas composition and acceleration of climate change.

What has Rob written here to show that he is "duly concerned" about climate change? He and I know that man-made climate change is a non-rational conspiracy theory. Climate change, if it indeed exists, is part of God's plan. God Bless You and Rob, anyway!

Holy Harry, by gosh we're on the same page! There is no way to prove climate change because the earth has gone through such hot and cold cycles before repeatedly. Drastic temperature rises have happened pre-Industry, pre-automobile, pre- aerosol. But as the Doctor pointed out the dirty jet propulsion which dominates civil and military aviation needs to change. Secret EMG and FFX propulsion systems need to become available soon ;-)

Holy moley, you're sort of right again. After the last ice age, Earth did warm up, but the rate was apparently about 1% of what we're seeing now. LOL
