Staying with the deer hunting theme, hunters & game managers everywhere promote a new game management process to keep populations in check, and to promote the growth of old, large-antlered bucks. It's call Quality Deer Management (QDM) and it advocates the harvesting of mature female deer (an old hunting taboo) in order to achieve a more healty "balance" between deer sexes. Many proponents of QDM are maniacal in their zeal surrounding this issue.for this biological cause.
