There’s a place in Hawaii
Where I’ll practice botany

Near Hilo—the Kilo Key.

I’m gonna go graft on a plant’s stalwart shaft
In Kealakekua, Hawaii,
And make a new strain of cannabis for cannabliss
For a huge bonger throe.

I can hear old farmers a-saying:
“You want a crop that’s a cash cow,
On that plot you can be parlaying
Kona coffee crop of old into what makes ’em go, ‘Wow’!”

They’ll toke on bongs and get ripped,
All inhaling like good stoners,
And grand illusions all of them will see.
They’ll puff a little Hawaiian, and then psychedelic joy;
They’ll want no crack after I’ll have alloyed.

I’m gonna go graft. . .grow some stalwart grass shafts
In Kealakekua, Hawaii,
And sing “Dooby, dooby: do!” unlike dude
Who’s the “ring-a-ding” guy.
