Branding with hegemony
Some of us scorn
Replaced our legacy
Feeling alarmed

Then it happened in a spurt
With the deadliest of forms
Even wealthy feel the hurt
Buying cheaply lost its charm

Betrayed, but we're to blame
Feeding the horde
They wait, and play the game
Machining their arms
The pull is now complete
They've tethered our hands
No raise goes to their slaves
While we get obese

We depend on what they make
While they're bleeding 'till they're old
Jobs they're stealing for our sake
Wish we'd make it all at home...

They depend on what we take
Only reason so much sold
Not appealing when it breaks
Time to make it on our own...
