The Lyrics

There's always one piece missing, isn't there?
1, 2, 3, argh!

Making deep constructed worlds, I'm a mad plastic designer
Only wanna make it bigger but I cannot reach that dream
When all I do is dive deep down in my recliner
Wond'ring where in the world is that one piece of Lego?

Even when I take a breather from my personal constructions
And try something more simple, I will still end up screwed
Because no matter what is listed in the back of the instructions
Still yell "Where in the world is that one piece of Lego?"

I'm gonna rip out my damn brain if I cannot locate
The lynchpin to my masterpiece, where's it at?

Think it's gonna drive me mad, must leave this stack undone 'til later
And I regret having wondered if it's in my old works
Because they're now in many pieces which I'd fix but I must leave it
Still scream "Where in the world is that one piece of Lego?"

Whoa-oh, tell me where in the world is (c'mon, tell me where can it be?)
Checked ev'ry drawer I have 'round and I did not find crap
Except for balled lint and spiders, where are you?

Hey! Hey!
It's bollocks, so bollocks
It's bollocks, so bollocks
Ooh, can't see
Ooh-woo-woo-woo, can't see
Just a tiny bit, yeah, tiny little bit, oh
Just a tiny bit, yeah, tiny little bit
Oh, why is it not in my sight?

Ev'ry plastic tub I own has been tipped with indignation
I will risk making my feet hurt, worth it to locate that piece
And I've got a feeling once I'm done, will happen again, hate it
Can't stop, where in the world is that one piece of Lego?

Whoa-oh, tell me where in the world is that one piece of Lego?
Tell me where in the world is that one piece of Lego (don't know)?
Tell me where in the world is that one piece of Lego (oh)?
Tell me where in the world is that one piece of Lego?
Tell me where in the world is that frigging piece (whoa-oh-oh)?
Where in the world is that one piece of Lego?
Tell me where in the world is that one piece of Lego (where's it at)?

I played two Carmen Sandiego games as a kid and neither of them had this theme. I only discovered its existence many years later as an adult. I'd say that I was robbed but that would only make sense, wouldn't it?

We advise that the beat way to find that missing LEGO piece is to run madly around the house barefooted. Its foolproof .... painful yes, but foolproof

As I lay in my hospital bed, hooked up to a blood transfusion, all I will say is "Worth it". :P

And to make sure you never again end up in the hospital like that you will no longer ride your bicycle on the Interstate
