The Lyrics

This song was a long time in conceptualizing and finishing. I know other writers have taken other forms of death as a means to incorporate for their part and with this song. But I also noticed that the other versions posted, have not been able to get full 5's in voting. I am hoping to break that trend with this song. First: Context. I have been hearing quite a lot of hiker deaths in the news trying to scale Mount Everest lately. Even a 17 year old doing it. It's starting to look like more of a suicide cult for those wacky adrenaline junkies. PEOPLE!! THE HIMALAYAS ARE MORE THAN JUST EVEREST!!!! THERE ARE OTHER TALLER MOUNTAINS TO CLIMB THAT WON'T KILL YOU!!!. I think Nepal needs to step in and say f-off, no more climbers. Especially when you see the traffic jam of hikers, corpses, trash, that builds up.
(Verse 1)
There was a time when I was just so lame
Accomplishments that don’t provide acclaim
I’ve got belays, harnesses, and my ropes
To meet the challenge of Everest slopes*
Even with dense fog, I’ll traverse and slog
Now with oxygen clog, write my epilogue

(Chorus 1)
I believe I will die
Not sure that I can climb so high
Received exposure from these chilling skies (chilling skies)
Get laughed at as gumby cries
Even I see the crux
Past (those) sherpas and the garbage influx
I believe I will die
I believe I will die
I believe I will die hoo

(Verse 2)
See there was no chance of a gate flutter
Looked like I was in a sputter
Using my crampons so that I don’t glissade
I’m not deterred from my Himalaism, oh no
Don’t a need a reason no, it’s hiking season
With my HACE disease in, and there is freeze in

(Chorus 2)
I believe I will die
Not sure that I can climb so high
Received exposure from these chilling skies
Get laughed at as gumby cries
Even I see the crux
Past (those) sherpas and the garbage influx
I believe I will die
I believe I will die
Oh, I believe I will die hoo

Hey, grim reaper’s here for you, ah

If I have the hex yeah, but forgot the dex
Reaching for the apex, adrenaline sex, hey

(Chorus 3)
I believe I will die, ahh
Not sure that I can climb so high
Received exposure from these chilling skies
Get laughed at as gumby cries
Even I see the crux
Past (those) sherpas and the garbage influx
I believe I will die (I will die)
I believe I will die (I will die)
I believe I will die (I will die) yeah

(Outro verse)
This hiker traffic jam (I will die)
I will die (I will die)
I will die (I will die)
I will die, (I will die) hey
This hiker traffic jam (I will die)
I will diiiiiiiiiiie (I will die)
(I will die)
(I will die)
(Die, Die, Diiiiiiiiie)
* = I know these lines are not supposed to rhyme, I just ran with it. For those who are having trouble with the mountaineering jargon in this song, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glossary_of_climbing_terms. I don't take humour in actual deaths lightly, but humour in stupidity quite heavily. Oh yeah, and Ok Breaking Track 8 is coming soon.
