The Lyrics

Yet, another satire about my beliefs towards the usa, here is the YouTube link to "Promise of a New Day" - http://youtu.be/NzD6ORX2oU4
Eagle’s balder and he’s blind as a bat
Tables are turning, game of mouse and cat
How can I feel this way?
Only in the USA

Only in
Only in the USA

All through time, the blood spills beneath our feet
One more way for them to spell defeat
They have the final say!
Only in the USA

Only in
Only in the USA
Only in
Only in the USA

Only in
Only in the USA
Only in

Hate’s working overtime
Will it end the world
They all know, they all know
The only promises
Are the lies they tell, and well
It’s what they call freedom

They ain’t learning from mistakes in the past
Do what they say and then kiss their ass
Why do these things I say?
Only in the USA

Only in
Only in the USA
Only in
Only in the USA

Only in
Only in the USA
Only in
Only in the USA

Only in
Only in the USA
Only in
Only in the USA

Hate’s working overtime
Will it end the world
They all know
The only promises
Are the lies they tell, and well
It’s what they call freedom

Fire’s burning and they’re feeding the flame
Earth’s stopped turning, that won’t end their game
They make me feel this way!
Only in the USA

Only in
Only in the USA

Back and forth, the earth shakes under my feet
One more way that they make war complete
They sure blow you away
Only in the USA

Only in
Only in the USA
Only in
Only in the USA

Only in
Only in the USA
Only in
Only in the USA

Got no pity and their world will not last
But they all still seem to have a blast
Their time will come someday
Only in the USA

Only in
Only in the USA

Eagle’s falling and he’s dropping stone dead
Wars are waging, blood is being shed
I’m gonna have my say!
Only in the USA

Only in
Only in the USA
Only in
Only in the USA

Ooh!

Only in
Only in the USA
I don’t do things their way!
Only in
Only in the USA

Hey!
Fire’s burning and they’re feeding the flame
Only in
Only in the USA
Earth’s stopped turning, that won’t end their game
Only in
Only in the USA
Only in
Only in the USA….

Excellent, with the exception of one mistake in two places, the line that reads "It’s what they call freedom" is only a 6 syllable line. The original line reads "And share with one another" it was a simple word confusion, like the word "any" used to be for me. I did not know that the word "other" was 2 syllables, just like before I didn't know that "any" was 2 syllables, I know it now, I looked it up, "any" is "an" then "y" as "another" is very similar. it is "an" then "other" which is "oth" then "er" making it "an-oth-er" but "freedom" is 2 syllables and "another" is 3 syllables, making the original line 7 syllables long, and my line is only 6 syllables long. But other than that, no other mistakes are in the song. :-)

JIN - Much of what you say (with your usual fine skill) is true. I still feel we are not beyond redemption...especially if we turn our anger, frustration, and other impulses into song parodies. ;D

Thank you Rob and OMR for your votes and comments! :-) I try not to make mistakes in my parodies, but nobody and nothing will ever be perfect, there always will be those little flaws in everything/everyone. ;-)
