Original Song Title:

"All Apologies"

 (MP3)
Original Performer:

Nirvana

Parody Song Title:

"Bad Analogies"

Parody Written by:

Below Average Dave

The Lyrics

College is the key
Knobs are both for these
Grills are like the sun
They can both burn buns
Booty and nice shoes
Both might get abused
Your face to old feet
Bad Analogies

Shlongs to Guns
Jeff to Puns -well there's some fun
Zombie's grunts to pop songs!
Oh jeese
Lousy

She's like Mega Man 2
Easy to play too
Congress and quake faults
Both come to quick haults
Cor'prate to a chain
Both trap us the same
Sunburns to a mid term
both will make you scream in horrid agony

Fall Out Boy
to Pete Wentz--search what I meant*
It's like me
to Nestle
Nutty, Nutty, Nutty
You'll see
We're both nutty

Like a heart is to a pump
Compare things that leave you stumped
Like your breath is to a dump
Like long outros to speed bumps
Old man's willy to a drum
Both get beat 'til late night comes
Like in-laws to alcohol
Both will make you feel bizarre
Like my teacher to a car
Scratch that one won't go that far
All in all is all we are
Yes that line was from this song
Like a jar is to nice clothes
They keep the goodies enclosed
Like old melons to a ball
Both are always bound to fall
Like a rhyme is to a mall
Authors stretch them pretty far
B.A.D's my name, so after all
Analogies are not my call

The Fall Out Boy reference to Pete Wentz refers to the much published story and imagery of his member being exposed by 'accident' all over the internet. Supposedly it was meant to be a private vid for 'someone' and somehow it got everywhere. Hence, the analogy of Pete Wentz, the Fall Out Boy guitarist, to. . .well His 'Fall Out Boy' (Fan of the band, but thought it was appropriate considering the topic at hand)

Wow! B.A.D. I've really got to say it, when you write a parody, you really give it a real good college try, and I must say also, that it certainly pays off! Pays of in three 5's that is! ;-)

You're able to come up with some pretty tricky topics and make them work. That takes skill and skill is what you have.

I'm not too good with analogies but I am clever with similies...and I "like" this a lot! ;D

Love the song, your parody is excellent, and Mega Man 2 is definitely NOT easy. 555

It seems that everybody is taking the higher educational route with Nirvana, which is strange because Nirvana is a grunge band and many parents think this type of music makes you lose brain cells. Obviously that's not the case with this round.

Well bits here and there went over my head on thos one..but you made my brain work a little harder, so I give you credit for that (and for the variations on that coda as well)

(Artistry) Heh-heh...knob. Seriously, great parody here. Some bits were a bit confusing, but maybe that's the short lines of the OS working against you. 555!

(Artistry) This parody to Rubik's Cube -- both pretty clever!
