Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

I thought the theme lyrics fit perfectly with the Teen Spirit chorus. Also, the word "Myster-yous" is creative license and fits the pacing better than "Mysterious."
(The lyrics are sung by Cousin Itt, since nobody could understand what Kurt was saying anyway.)

Morticia and husband Gomez
Are very, very, very rich
Most folks would find them so absurd
I know I know a dirty word

Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap
Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap
Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap
Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap

Yeah, they're creepy and they're kooky
They're myster-yous and they're spooky
And they're altogether ooky
Addams Fam'ly
Addams Fam'ly

Yeah, their house is
A museum
Where the people
Come to see 'em
Neat!

Sweet!

Petite!

Their butler, Lurch, Frankenstein
And then they have Uncle Fest(er)
Morticia loves to speak in French
The hairy guy is Cousin Itt

Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap
Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap
Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap
Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap

Yeah, they're creepy and they're kooky
They're myster-yous and they're spooky
And they're altogether ooky
Addams Fam'ly
Addams Fam'ly

So let's get a
Witches' shawl on
an old broomstick
you can crawl on
Neat!

Sweet!

Petite!

(Guitar solo)

And don't forget
About the Thing
It is a hand that likes to snap
I found it hard
To sing about
This clan, too many, members, yeah

Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap
Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap
Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap
Snap snap, Snap snap, Snap snap

Yeah, they're creepy and they're kooky
They're myster-yous and they're spooky
And they're altogether ooky
Addams Fam'ly
Addams Fam'ly

Yeah, their house is
A museum
Where the people
Come to see 'em

Yeah, there's Gomez
And Morticia
Then there's Wednesday
Then there's Pugsley
Uncle Fester
And the Thing and
Granny, Lurch, and
Cousin Itt yeah
Addams Fam'ly!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I kinda enjoyed it until the end, where you identified Grandmama as Granny. I was thinking of the classic TV show, which I saw all last weekend on TVLand. But I bet that would have been hard to pace, since 'Grandmama' has one syllable more than 'granny.'

In the movies and the 1990s TV versions, she is referred to as Granny, and yeah it would have been really hard to pace. Thanks for your comments.

THIS IS SACRILEGE! HOW DARE YOU DEGRADE NIRVANA?! ^Kidding...sort of. I think it is lacking something (make that several things), though I don't really care enough about this parody to discuss its faults.

That's exactly what I was thinking, Chris. I know that in the Addams Family movies the corresponding character's name was Granny.
