What would you do for $1,000,000? - YouTube Link for Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) by Marilyn Manson - http://youtu.be/R8MQIiBB57o - The film is set in an abandoned asylum, the Vannacutt Psychiatric Institute for the Criminally Insane, where numerous murders were committed in the 1940s and 50s. The head of the facility, Dr. Richard B. Vannacutt, performed grotesque experiments and medical procedures on the patients, killing many in the process. The hospital was closed when some of the so-called "patients" escaped, killing almost the entire staff and burning the hospital. Vannacutt had rigged the building with numerous iron gates, activated by cranks and levers, to serve as barriers to keep patients from leaving the building, should they escape; some of these were controlled by huge, clock-like timers that wouldn't open for twelve hours. During the fire, he released these gates, keeping the inmates, employees and the fire itself contained. After several unexplained deaths during reconstruction of the facility, it was dubbed "The House on Haunted Hill".

Don't know if it's because I access from across the pond but I only get a lyrics version from that youtube link, would have loved to see the asylum pictures as such usually remind me of the house where my sister is raising two little monsters. That said, doctor Wannacut (OK, Vannacutt) is a name worthy of a parody, and if you're into B and/or C Horror movies I remember one called Doctor Giggles as aspecially nutty: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr._Giggles

The reason that I picked "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) by Marilyn Manson, is that the song was used in the movie. I usually do that, when I do a spoof of a film, I pick the films main theme song (if any, and if I know it), then do a parody of the film, using it's theme song, what a nifty idea! ;-)
