Song Parodies -> "9-11"

Original Song Title:

"Tears In Heaven"

Original Performer:

Eric Crapton

Parody Song Title:

"9-11"

Parody Written by:

Malcolm Higgins

The Lyrics

after falling asleep watching Michael Moore's political rant, I think this was a gimme
can you feel the same
when you see 9-11/
Michael has no shame.
when he made 9-11
the left is wrong, they carry on
when the right stays free and strong
we're in heaven...

what a load of crap
when I saw 9-11
smart as a mud flap,
it's the film 9-11
I had to barf into my scarf
when the bullshit really starts, 9-11

slime can bring you down, slime can bend your knees
Michael Moore's a dork, someone kill him please...

he's such a bore, he'll do some more,
just a movie making whore, 9-11

can you say his name? when he makes 9-11
all the left's the same.. just the communist brethren
we must stay stong, and carry on,
while they don't believe it's wrong, 9-11

My movies are almost as sloppily thrown together as this slam. But hey, freedom of speech, right?
Michael Less - June 29, 2004 - Report this comment
You mean "Freedom of Screech", don't you?

I'm with you, Malcolm

I can't believe you used MY song to parody, and then had the nerve to call me Eric Crapton! And your parody wasn't even good! Idiot.

I saw this, and yes, I agree. I mean, go Michael Moore, he's got speak-power and a cool hat. But honestly? Many of the things he accused the Bush Baby of were things he displayed himself, without guilt, during the entire movie. Like, say, arrogance. I also noticed that he relied mostly on emotional appeal to make his points. But ah, well - I'm not really into political stuff. The Right and the Left can have a taffy-pulling party once I'm of age to vote. Oh, by the way...5-5-5 =)

It is the freedoms we have that make this country great, and for that reason I have the freedom to disagree openly with the way people like Michael Moore use their freedom. When you almost get kicked off of a stage on a night when YOU won an award, you gotta re-evaluate your approach to things.

Well said, 2nz!

I think the elections in November will be a referendum on Michael Moore

President Kerry could appoint Michael Moore "Secretary of Plate". President Bush could declare Michael Moore an "Enema Combatant".

I agree wholly with Michael Moore's right to do and say what he wanted. without getting into the whole.. millions died for your rights..etc.. they died for his rights too. Michael, say what you want anytime. I loved bowling for columbine, and your points were well made. I think this was crap, but then I like George Bush. keep up the comments. we have the right to debate, and to disagree.

ugh...Michael Moore is a stupid head...go freedom of speech and all but i'd like to see him try to do something like this in Iraq prior to our involvment. he would have been shot, killed, etc before he even started filming. i love how "9-11 is the temperature at which freedom burns" and he says it with A-no respect for the people loss that day and B-he's bashing the same exact freedom he's using. he's lucky he has it.

Loved it!

hmmm... I'm going to have to stray from the pack on this one. I saw the movie, and I think it's Moore's best work. He's an ass, but a much more intelligent ass than say... Bill O'Reilly. By the way, the Oscar night incident didn't happen exactly as it seemed. If you'd like to know the truth about that night, feel free to ask....
Your Worst Nightmare - July 02, 2004 - Report this comment
One of the things I detest about Michael Moore is that he is a Tory. He always defends his propaganda by saying he has freedom of speech, which doesn't make him any less a liar, yet he wouldn't HAVE freedom of speech if it wasn't for the American Revolution. We can't compare the brave men that fought for our country to the Iraqi kidnappers that saw people's heads off, as Michael Moore does.
Jennifer - July 02, 2004 - Report this comment
Michael Moore is an idiot. A lieing idiot. He should be shot! j/k about that last bit, but bairly. He puts propaganda in the heads of idiots registered to vote, and would end up destroying the world if he got to much power. 5-5-5!
Bennifer - July 02, 2004 - Report this comment
"A lieing idiot"? That's classic.

I don't think Eric Clapton's wife would be pleased with you parodying "Tears in Heaven."
malcolm higgins - January 08, 2006 - Report this comment
I know Jazzman, but she'd be worse if I'd parodied "I'm going down" as "he's gonna drown drown drown""... et about her kid ya think?
