This is about the trolls that make a habit of voting 1-1-1 on parodies just because they don't like the subject matter or the author, or because they just think it's fun. I have personally been "1-bombed" only once that I recall, although I recall possibly receiving deserved 1s for my early work that was lacklustre in terms of pacing and/or humor, to say the least. And no, this is not autobiographical, just like almost all of my parodies. *With only 23 parodies from 2001 to this submission, I'm certainly not in the top 10, but I receive my fair share of 5s and it works with this OS' pacing, so I wrote it in anyway.
Trolls at their computers, every night and day
When they visit AmIRight, just ones, they give away
They're enchanted by it, and they think it's fun
It's almost enough for me to say "I'm done!"
The trolls are droppin' "ones" today

I know exactly how you feel. I got 1-bombed on my last parody for some reason. I just wished the 1-bombers would tell me what I did wrong on my parody, why they don't like it, or what suggestions or advice can they give me. I feel that way because I always want to write a good parody. I haven't been doing submitting parodies lately because I've had writer's block for a long time. Well anyways, this parody of yours don't deserve one's because I never, ever give 1's! The lowest I have given are 4's once. Number 1 parody you wrote. The trolls may be dropping 1's but I'll give you all 5's! :)

I still think it is the full moon - or some disgruntled fan of the artist who recorded the OS. Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn. I always have alvin rhodes and co to give me 5's. By the way, for those find bathroom songs offensive, why do they get the most hits?

Christie Marie, +1 to that comment. Actually it was on another site that I posted a song in a forum format the troll told me that my lyrics weren't good and when I tried to ask why, he said I could have stuck to my day job and teaching someone how to write well is like teaching someone how to paint well and some just don't got it. I came out swinging with the three mad red faces icon and I have not seen any posts from him since. The worst I have ever got on a parody was 3-3-3.
Andria, as someone who's been 'bombed' a few times, I agree with your parody's sentiments - 555's! But I've come to believe that if you never get 'bombed' every once in a while, you're not taking the risks that are needed to do really good parodies. And to Alvin: I searched for your 27-bomb parody, but was unable to find it, what with all the songs you've posted - I'd be curious to look at it - Do you by chance know what the site record is? I'm always looking for a challenge.

I just got 1 bombed a couple days ago on a parody I did a year ago. He had no other reason except that he thought it was a lame parody. Like Leo Keough said you can't let one bombs keep you from taking risks and being that that was my first song I guess if I was to get bombed then that was the song. I feel like my writing has gotten a lot better as the lowest vote since then has been a 3
Thanks, Nick. My last two parodies got hit hard by 1-bombs thanks to the people whom I will decline to name, who disagreed with the parodies' anti-Bush content. Keep up the good work!
You're welcome Andria. I have come to accept it as part of the game. If every music artist freaked out every time someone gave them a 1 Star review their career would be over in a heartbeat. It is about taking the good with the bad. By the same token everyone on Amazon who gives a 1 Star review gives specific reasons for doing so
Now ATTENTION 1 BOMB TROLLS:
Unless you plan on giving specific reasons why you give a 1-1-1 vote in every category like lyrics were mys-rhymed, insincere, don't make sense, repetitive, hard to understand, the list goes on and on please change your computer channel instead of waisting ours and your time.
Here's an update: I hope that this doesn't provide inspiration for trolls, but I have been 1-bombed at least once on every parody I've written since this one, including two parodies which received over 20 1-bombs each.
