The Lyrics

Dude's a big fan of chocolate snacks, unless they contain a certain element...
Big fan of choc'late treats and other sweets divine
I cram a lot of choc in me ev'ry-y night
Love cakes and muffins, they're so fine, love to scoff 'em do-own
May seem like I-I-I've got no-o standards, but no-o
What I draw the li-ine a-at? Do-on't make them too damn gooey

It's not what I want, hate when the fillin's runny-y
I lose my big smile when the goo starts comin'
I tire of the giant smu-udges that get on my du-uds
Have to turn my mouth si-idewa-ays to catch runaway
Choc'late-flavoured oo-ooze, stop makin' them so gooey

Yeah, it's gross, don't you know, when your brownies squirt out brown goo
Oh, put it back? I can't, I bit right into that, now I feel stupid
Oh, drop do-own in the rou-ound bin cause wow, that was gooey

My friends, they all ask me what the hell's wrong with me
"You're sure not one o' them health nuts, you should like what's goo-ooey"
I have to stop 'em, cause I've no beef with the texture, that's fi-i-ine
It's the unsightly me-ess that it makes
The gross way it leaves stai-ains, that's why I hate what's gooey

Yeah, you know that I don't like it when my dessert starts oozin'
Oh, all of that tray's crap, cause I know they leak that strawberry fluid
Might dro-own in it no-ow, because wow, that stuff's gooey
Oh, I don't like it, no, ruin any treat: just add goo
Yeah, there's a lack of snacks without that liquid crap, I feel excluded
Yeah, sucks no-ow, where's the bro-ownies without stuff that's gooey?
I want snacks no-ow, just withou-out all that brown stuff that's gooey
Oh, bye no-ow, leave without snacks, cause wo-ow, too friggin' gooey

May just be me, but I only heard "boot scootin' boogie" in the very last line, the rest of the time it sounded like "boot scoot boogie". Just in case you were wondering why I paced it like I did.

A fruit pie might be an exception (yes, there is a chocolate flavor) but I agree with you on gooey fillings that drip all over the place. Don't care for the mess. 555! If you like chocolate, TCOP, get a Devil Dog Cake. Safeway, $9.99, 8", bakery custom 24 hr order. Better buy a gallon of milk to wash it down!

Two flaws with that suggestion, Rob: a) Safeway doesn't exist in Australia (it used to, but they changed their name to Woolworths) and b) DDC's look like they have cream in them, of which I'm not a fan. Not expecting you to know all that, but hey, you seem to be a fan of trivia from previous comments, so there's a couple more!
