The Lyrics

This song really isnt meant to be funny. It just represents fast food workers fight to get out of the jobs they hate so much. Their friends and family say "Just Quit and stop bitchin about it" But its harder than that. So this one goes out to those who can't help but be enslaved by the fast food industry.
I never though, I'd get a job
thought I would rot at home and be a slob
Had to take charge, get on my feet
Apply at the fast food joint down the street

Im hired then, my hopes are up
but never knew the place is so corrupt
Years have passed, and I've stayed on
But had enough, put the angst in this song

So tired of "Would you like fries with that?"
Cold food, bad mood, all of that crap.
Crap from people I took everyday
Just throw down the hat and runaway...

To a new job, I'll be direct
a carrer where I can get the respect
that I've deserved, for so long
but all I got is hopes and this song.

I never thought, I'd live the life
of being stuck on the Drive-Thru every night
The rush would start and never end
Strive for the helping hand noone would lend

I'll just quit now, screw this place
I'll be broke forever, if thats the case
But I dont care, anymore
I have what it takes to win this war

"So why don't I just quit?" some might say,
Good jobs are hard to find, nowadays
But I keep fightin, untill the end
then I can move on and live again.

I'll then move up instead of down
No longer in that place, where I would surely drown
in hopes of going, getting life on track
and not once would I ever look back

So tired of "Do you wanna make that large?"
that mess, B.S, always being in charge.
And away from my family everyday
I'll walk out the door and runaway...

To a new job. All those regrets,
are in the past, I'll get respect
what I've worked for, I'll right this wrong
and all I had is hope, all along.
