I've been writing parody songs through the last two years. I wrote this in 2020 at the start of the Coronavirus Pandemic, while on a Zoom meeting, that was about learning to use Zoom.

I've been logged on, since last Friday Night
I work from home cause folks aren’t feeling right
The dog is barking loud
And I’m not wearing pants
And someone’s blasting the TV

And that’s about the time that my boss muted me
Nobody likes working in quarantine
And I can’t hear over the TV Shows
What the hell is Tiger King?
My boss says he can’t see my screen

Then later on, when I was alone
I called back in from my cell phone
I said my modem stopped
My internet has failed
I’ll have to call Xfinity

And that's about the time my boss hung up on me
Nobody likes it working remotely
And I’m so busy with these conference calls
What the hell’s the call ID?
IT says check the user page
Hit unmute again
Can we Zoom again?

And that's about the time I lost my sanity
Nobody likes working in quarantine
God what time is it, I need a beer
How can it be only 3:00?
My laptop has me in a rage
Restart it again

That's about the time the call broke up on me
It’s hard to take this all so seriously
The teacher’s calling my kid needs the line
Wow, screw you Covid 19
I hope that they cure this disease
