Robert Arendt got this topic about Obama's skeet shooting pic rolling with "Skeet Shooter Time" I'm also of the opinion that this picture is either posed or photoshopped. All one has to do is compare this photo with actual skeet shooters and you'll see two glaring discrepancies. Obam is aiming level, while all skeet shooter photos have them aiming up in the sky to shoot at a target that is launched into the air. Even more telling, Obama is neglecting one of the four fundamental of shooting -- creating a secure pocket between his chest and shoulder for the rifle butt so that the gun's recoil won't affect the direction of the shot

In the Obama photo, only the bottom half of the rifle butt is pressed against his upper torso. That's not a secure pocket; the entire rifle butt needs to pressed against the upper torso. This is something that I, along with every other American who has ever served in the military, learned in the third week of basic training

Lennie - Good thing we're not shooting pistols because you beat me to the draw on this one. Good job here. As for the picture, it made a worthy companion to Dukakis in the tank and Kerry windsurfing.
