Look at my pen collection,
They all face one direction.
Lift the lid off the cover,
I'll treasure these like no other.

Ink the colour of berry,
Ink for drawing Jim Carrey,
Ink it has gone out of fashion,
But I treat it with compassion.

Ink as black as the night,
It allows me to write
That last Wedding Invite.
And I think I'll send them all off tonight,
So I don't give my bride a fright.

When I go to play bingo,
Ink, to draw a portrait of Ringo.
He's such world famous fella.
With ink you can be really clever.

Ink doesn't show up when white.
And it can never be too bright,
all the shades are just right,
And I think I'm going to learn calligraphy tonight
-the prettiest way to write.

I have no need for a rubber,
Because I am such an ink lover.
As ink doesn't wash off; it stays on.
I'm not of lead-persuasion.

Ink always comes out just right,
It's such a perfect delight,
Ink it's like lead but not quite,

And I hope that the lids are all on really tight,
So that the nibs are all alriiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
