The Lyrics

I heard the news that Bill Murray's character, Peter Veckman, is gonna be a ghost in "Ghostbusters 3." If you think this is not true, Google it.
***Bill Murray***:
Boys and girls. Ladies and gentleman. I would like to do a song for the death of my character, Peter Veckman, in "Ghostbusters 3." He's actually gonna be a ghost, instead of a live person. So here's the song: "Ghost of Peter Veckman." It's a parody of Aerosmith's "Livin' on the Edge"

(Then Bill picks up his acoustic guitar and plays it to begin the song)

My character's gonna die away
But in Ghostbusters 2,
He fought Vigo and survived

Peter will be seen in a different way
He's gonna be a ghost
He'll never come back alive

Livin' on the death
Livin' on the death
Livin' on the death
Livin' on the death

Peter's partners will save the day
In the big New York town
Before it gets really slimed

Killin' off the Vigo man
And the Marshmallow Man
Sure was a waste of energy and time

Livin' on the death
Hard to keep the good guy from dyin'
Livin' on the death
But all this evil will die
Livin' on the death
Hard to keep the good guy from dyin'
Livin' on the death

Tell me what do you think of Danny Akroyd,
Harold Ramis, and Ernie Hudson
Back in business

They're gonna be the same ghostbusters, who are fightin'
Against the ghost and they feel less frightened
Of ghost men
I bet they would, my friends
Again and again and again and again and again

Tell me what do you think of Louis Tully,
And Oscar Veckman, who is Peter's son
Part of business

If Louis can use his gun to break off the slime shell,
Oscar can save the ghost of his dad from hell
With ghost men
I bet he would, my friends
Again and again and again and again

Peter will be viewed another way
He's gonna be a ghost
Will all the ghosts be toast or is New York gonna roast?
What do you think will happen the most?

Livin' on the death
Hard to keep the Veckman from dyin'
Livin' on the death
But all this evil will die
Livin' on the death
Hard to keep the Veckman from dyin'
Livin' on the death

Livin' on the death
Livin' on the death
Livin' on the death
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

(Then the audience applause.)

My bad, I meant to type 'Venkman.'

Cute. Still hate the movie's story plot, but cute.

Interesting concept. As a nerd myself, I always knew Egon Spengler would be the one to survive...hehe! ;D

They should've never made this movie. The first two were enough. As for Bill's character, that stinks. That makes it even worse. I think I'll skip this one. I bet Bill doesn't like the idea for his character either. Good parody though. 555's
