I haven't seen the reboot, but I remember the giant sized issue where Petey found out his parents were traitors, and later discovered that they were undercover agents for the US government.

I just saw "The Amazing Spiderman" this morning at 9am to a packed house. It was freakin' awesone! ***** movie for action and fun. Next year it's "Iron Man 3", "Thor 2", and "The Wolverine". In 2014 it's "Avengers 2" and "Black Panther". Sub-Mariner may be worked into "Iron Man 3" as the villain. And 2013 also has "The Man of Steel" from DC.
