Keep fit. Eat plant-based foods. Take a brisk walk 30 minutes a day. You'll lose weight. Your med is not only assisting your kidneys, but probably lowering your BP. I take a diuretic for high BP. But, at 80, I have BPH, so I never pass up a public toilet.
