"On the Road Again"

 (MP3)
Original Performer:

Willie Nelson

Parody Song Title:

"He's At It Again!"

Parody Written by:

Robert D. Arndt Jr.

The Lyrics

My 2300th parody in 33 mos and 15 days!!! Bieber's egging incident...
He’s at it again!
Bieber can’t stay out of trouble with friends
Egging the neighbor and doin’ drugs often
Can’t wait to hear his latest explanation!

He’s at it again!
Everywhere he goes he does offend
Even at home he is causing mayhem
Can’t wait to hear his latest explanation!

He’s at it again!
Robbed of childhood he’s a juvenile at play
He egged a mansion?
$20k vandalism- a felony
He will pay, for all that “attention”…

Bieber can’t stay out of trouble with friends
Egging the neighbor and doin’ drugs often
Can’t wait to hear his latest explanation!

Most novel OS and most amusing topic in 33 months and 15 days. What is the difference between writing parodies and making sausage?

What sort of eggs can cause thousands of dollars in damages. The Pentagon must be looking to breed some of those chickens.

I probably shouldn't say this, but.. Rob: your use of language is really rather noxious. So, someone's voted 1s on a parody - why is that such a bad thing anyway? Someone has taken their time to vote, and a vote of all 1s is never a comment on the quality of a parody. You're by no means unique in having 1s voted on one or many parodies, then coming back to post more - that probably includes every parody author in the top 100.

But you're third on the parody list only in terms of quantity - quality-wise you're not even close to so many others it's not worth trying to list them. I've stopped reading your parodies because they're simply not worth it most of the time - far too little attention to quality control. Sure, continue your bombast as you probably will, but using words like "defeat", "overcome"? I'm not sure how posting yet another barely-finished parody counts as defeating anything.

Boasting verbosely and repeatedly in comments that fill the message feed just makes you look like an egotist and a bully, and makes the whole amiright experience less friendly and welcoming for any new parody writers who might otherwise want to hang around for a bit longer. You appear unable to offer corrections or even a different viewpoint without trying to belittle or demean, and it's really rather tiresome.

Please, lighten up, get a bit more of a sense of perspective (a sense of humour might help, too). And I for one would far rather see one new parody per week that's worth reading than a couple a day that really aren't.

Thanks for another long, worthless comment Phil. Maybe you should write more parodies than commentary ;-)

Note: I have 137 WN OTRA parodies= 5.9% leaving 94.1% OTHER. So what if this is a serial? 49 others have done the OS as well :)

Oh, the irony.. Can you please point to another long comment of mine, let alone one that could be called "worthless"?

This is exactly what I'm talking about: you always try to put people down. But it's thoughtless, inaccurate and just plain stupid most of the time. If you think the above comment is worthless, then maybe you are a hopeless case, completely insular and incapable of realizing how others see you.

This is my thread Phil and you've already stated how you felt about myself and my parodies. No one forces you to click my links and so why don't you move along and shower another artsy-fartsy "Master of the Mundane" with 5s??? And I resent your implied notion that other high vets here are pacing and lyrical perfectionists that rate 555 with every parody they submit. I have studied their author sheets and most are average with a range of overall ratings. None are perfect and there is no real perfection from any human being anyway- just progression. I have empirically 2300 parodies and nothing you say here in the comment box is going to change my production nor my variations of topics using my own serial songs and other OS, range of artists, genres, and time periods. You are like an Islamic thug with a AK-47 yelling from a valley up to a sniper armed with a .338LM Erma SR-100. The sniper holds the high ground and can take you anytime at will. You verbal weapon is weak and has no power to harm me at all. Apply your parody standards to yourself and your posse, check the author sheets and the production times for the high vets. They are no better than the other hundreds of authors here overall. Even JAB gets low ratings and is snubbed on occasion despite his highly crafted parodies. Phil, you couldn't even follow my Milspeak unless I leave notes and your knowledge base is inferior to mine, even less with life experiences. I write what I want, at will and still have a fan base that likes my materials enough to deflect most of the 1-bomber(s) hits. So what if you hit me? Like a tank I just move forward. Tomorrow I move on to next goal of 2400, then 2500, then Malcolm will be bumped, and then onward still...

How ironic that you mention "progression" because that's the one thing you haven't done since you first began plaguing this site with your poorly constructed efforts.

@SO, that's just more opinion. The very best vets here still get frequent lowball ratings and many of their songs are uninspired and dull. They also retread the same artists from their time like the Beatles for example. JAB did IPASOY blocks years before I was ever here and did other blocks as well. You have double and triple standards and do not apply your parody rules to yourselves. How many parodies on any given day are humorous or hilarious? Few if none. The majority are sarcastic and sometimes witty or in Sue's case gory! There are non-parody tributes, emotional songs that are sad, and other informative bits (loved when Hu did a parody about a Klan weapon). CML does Islamic parodies that REPs love and Rightwing humor that offends Lefties and the reverse too. Some have done sports themes and religious. So there is no single way to write a parody. Everyone has their topics of choice and their particular style. I liked Patrick's WoEFG series, Susanna Viljanen's naval parodies, JABs masked sexual parodies, etc... You make exceptions for your high vet faves and condemn me? You make no sense. I write to my strengths and have my own unorthodox materials that I use. I prefer to be different and have my stats and hit numbers and overall ratings that were a wall of 4-5s before the 2013 1-bombing campaign hit which is personal and not based on my parodies. So please stop preaching to me as you and your pals are not in a position to do so and you have no visible effect on my postings daily, my fragments that I dominate, and my entertainment submissions that you ignore as well. Total submissions= over 6250 in 33.5 mos. Who here can match that? No one past nor present. Notice that it takes a group of you to fight me and you still lose. I will still be posting tomorrow and as long as I please. TT is dead, and the other pacing police are forced offsite, not me. I remain unmoved. Go waste your commentary elsewhere.

One major difference between you, Rob, and those others you mention is that none of them have ever gone on and on and on ad nauseam about how much of a top parody writer they are, how much better and more prolific they are than anyone else. I tire of your incessant need to point out how many parodies you've written - maybe it's just insecurity, but it does display an excessive and largely unjustifiable disdain for anyone who has the temerity to disagree with you. I'm not trying to force you off-site, nor prevent you from posting second-rate effluvia, merely pointing out that amiright is not your personal property, and your behaviour here is boorish, hectoring and frankly not very nice.

This isn't *your* thread - it's a comment section after one of your parodies. You don't own it.

SNAFU Joe - I'm "SOL"? What, you think I'm also the "Stunned onlooker" commenter? Nope. I post as me, always have done.

Must have been some expensive eggs if they can cause 20 grand worth of damage. Either that or Justin Bieber is quite a thrower and should sign up for Major League Baseball.

SNAFU Joe - ah, that makes sense. Thank you for explaining. Have to admit, military TLAs tend to make me think "WTF?" (or more likely "WGAF?"). I've made a lot of virtual friends on Amiright over the years, and have even met/performed with a few IRL :-)
