After each 15 minute episode of “Uncle Grandpa” there is sometimes a mini-show called “New Experiences with Beary Nice and Hot Dog Person” in which the positive but not nice cuddly bear gets depressed Hot Dog Person to do something dangerous that ends in HDP being hurt or devoured by predators! Each “new experience” ends well for the bear but not HDP. In one episode Beary climbs a tall tree and gets HDP to climb too, except that the tree is a buzzing electrical power structure and by the time HDP gets near the top, a swooping eagle flies in and claws HDP before dropping him in a nest where the young devour him alive! In another episode, Beary asks HDP to try ice cream for the first time. A bumble bee lands on HDP’s ice cream and stings his tongue. Everytime something bad happens to HDP, Beary tells him to be more positive.
