The Lyrics

Political parodies open due to expected 1-bombings according to ideologies. I thought Patrick might want to say something about Second Amendment rights and forced gun control. Another year, another massacre due to someone who was angry, perhaps disgruntled against the Navy, but this time the Navy should handle it and not Obama, giving him a reason to avoid the Syrian Crisis to talk about gun control again. I hope that the gunmen used a naval weapon to keep it military and by-pass civilian arms altogether. I'm tired of stupid people that call sporters "assault rifles" and idiotic banning of foreign automatic handguns just to produce more domestic types and wheel guns. When will the DOJ start asking mental health questions on gun applications and enforcing gun laws already on the books? It's just that simple. Leave law-abiding gun owners alone and stop associating mass gun murders with types of weapons. You can still kill lots of people with revolvers and hunting rifles as well as shotguns, which ARE part of the NRA's claim of American history. All the troublesome guns come from Germany: the automatic pistol, double action auto pistol, true SMG, and assault rifle. Those come from the Second and Third Reichs for mass-killing. The NRA will mention the M1911A, the Thompson, Ruger Mini-14, and AR-15... but so what? German weapons preceded them...
Here we go again
Another “massacre” in Washington (D.C.)
Angry contract worker turned Naval Yard gunman
How long until they vilify the weapon???

Here we go again
Excuse for another weapons ban (proposal)
‘Stead of mental status on gun applications
How long until they vilify the weapon???

Here we go again
Sure, mass-murder will always be a tragedy
Which will never end
But insisting on new gun bans is not the way
To save the day, need psych evaluations

Another “massacre” in Washington (D.C.)
Angry contract worker turned Naval Yard gunman
How long until they vilify the weapon???

Ban WMD guns from public use. Seems to cut down on genocide. That simple, stupid! Leave your bete noir Obama out of it. Minus infinity score, if I could.
Rob Arndt - September 17, 2013 - Report this comment
@JR... a WMD gun would be a nuclear artillery delivery system, not small arms and besides fully automatic weapons or possession of components is ALREADY ILLEGAL! FYI, more people have been saved by gun ownership that the total of periodic "massacres!" Or would you like young women and children raped and murdered, home invasions and sex offender prowlings to go unchecked, and avg. Americans not allowed to defend their own homes and persons? Most of the nations in the world that do not allow their citizens to have weapons are tyrant states in which the government is corrupt & evil. And in Africa who needs small arms when you can commit genocide with machetes and blunt force trauma weapons? If any group of people are stupid that would Liberals and Pseudo-intellectuals (second to be slaughtered by a tyrant regime after the innocent). @AY by each instance of personal attack: Third Reich lover? No, historian known for intelligence about that topic. Not a member of any Nazi or hate group, no criminal record. War as first resort? No, only actions that are necessary. The US could have nuked the Chinese in Korea (as was McArthur's plan) but didn't and same for Vietnam against the NVA and Hanoi. Didn't happen. And JFK in the Cuban Missile crisis in '62. Same. In fact, the US could have taken out the USSR when we had the nuclear advantage in arms- but it didn't. The US let the USSR implode from within. Historical facts. Moving on... Religious Medievalist (WTF???) no, Christian Fundamentalist (we live in the US where anyone can believe in anything and that is my right and your right. The fact that you choose atheism is laughable as that is a religion as well- a strong belief against God. It is organized and funded as well!). End of the World Proclaimer. So what? Even the military journals predict a WW by 2020 and they get paid to analyze and project what will happen. Nuclear arms are projected to be used in massive strikes. If that doesn't scare you and use of more sinister chemical and bio-weapons, that's your problem. I guess willful ignorance is bliss! And weapons collector (again, so what? I have my HSC and hunting cards and no criminal record. Not a crime by a long shot). And lastly, hysterical historian of Nazi mythology. Really- mythology? Let's pit my knowledge over yours. First of all, the German Flugscheiben (flight discs) are factual. Evidence are known patents and blueprints (Focke, Trenn, Fleissner, Schriever, Epp, others...), working small-scale test models (Schauberger), wind tunnel models (Epp), an annular aircraft with pics (Sack As-6 V1), and US classification of the exotic EMG and mercury ion plasma driven types until 2020 (75 years from 1945). US admission in 1995 and before that alluded to in Project Bluebook preface- an Official US Govt. document. The "Foo Fighter" phenomenon also concluded as German tech via US document "German Capabilities for 1945" drawn-up in 1944. Listed are the "Foo Fighters" as PHOO BOMBS, unmanned, speed 526 mph. Also listed is EM Wave Weapon, same document. We know from Peenemunde that they were working on a 15cm Rail Gun and had designs for ICBMs (the upper pre-stage tested in Jan 1945- the winged A-4B Bastard part of the A-9/A-10). We also know the Germans were building 2 radiological bombs to drop on Manhatten- both captured at Ohrdruf and destroyed. 5 converted V-2s for radiologicals found at Leese as D-2s with payload sections. German atomic bomb project falsified and Johnastal S.III complex classified by the AEC until 2045 (100 years)!!! Aircraft to carry the weapon under construction in 1945 (Ho XVIII) and Type XXI sub towed launcher (Prufstand XII) being worked on at Stettin (1 launch tube complete, 2x 85% complete). Germans aware of atomic power for electrical generation, for use with aircraft (Hyperschallflugzeug), and submarines both in propulsion and internal launch tubes. SS had separate bomb mixing 60% coal dust with 40% LOX and an added reagent. Die Glocke (Bell Device) was highest tech of WW2- either an antigrav flight machine OR the first real attempt at a time machine (Zeitmaschine). And 85% of the US and Soviet arsenals post-WW2 include weapons developed from the Second and Third Reichs- fact. Even the method of fighting derived from Blitzkrieg and so on... so dont you feel like a fool for entering my realm? And playing NG commentator here will do you no good as I dominated my NG site with ease. Been there done that. Best to stop while you have a chance. Seriously. And reported too for breaking the rules on PERSONAL ATTACKS- how dumb can you be to keep going that route???
Rob Arndt - September 17, 2013 - Report this comment
Note: Anymore personal attacks will be reported immediately. The comment box is not a NG forum and is certainly NOT for making personal attacks. What AY wrote is libel. IF you have something to say about the parody which deals with the Naval Yard Massacre and/or gun rights in the US... then by all means post it, whatever your views. Just keep the name-calling and labels out of it. Most of my weekly parodies deal with current events just like everyone else. Sometimes I write about war, weapons, or the Third Reich, but as a percentage they DO NOT represent a majority of my 2138 total parodies over nearly 2.5 years!!! My topics are very diversified. My humor may be sarcastic and morbid most of the time, but I've also done silly, toilet-types, witty, masked sexual, and unconventional in various forms (from skits, hymns, poems, commercial jingles, kids songs, etc...). Please be respectful of my thread space as I am respectful of yours. I only respond to attacks on my threads and don't go to over to other peoples'. That is inappropriate and juvenile behavior.

not clever or funny, just a miserable soul with an axe to grind
Rob Arndt - September 18, 2013 - Report this comment
Dear Maxipad, you are not qualified to make that assertion b/c you have not read all 2138 of my parodies spanning 2.5 years. I also dominate Fragments which you can't touch and the Editor decides what is funny enough to go up- the majority of my 120 Fragments have been posted. I have no competition with that contribution section nor 6 others as No.1, and numbers 2, 4. and 6 for the other 3. Still the most prolific parodist on AiR and still hold many records thet remain unbroken. Still the only Top 10 Parodist (#4) as well as Top 10 Contributor (#6). That makes me unique and your assertions worthless. You are of no consequence to me at all. Another brave soul that can't sign his real name. Pathetic...

Braggadocio (yawn...again). Try quality over quantity and you may not get so much flak.

Anger seems to be floating around our society like some sort of malevolent fog. The Navy Yard shooter had been arrested twice before for firearms related incidents, including intentionally shooting another man's tires. That should have landed him somewhere where he could not have handled a gun for a couple of decades. Expanded background checks for gun buyers? This guy had military security clearances. By the way, the 1934 National Firearms Act, which essentially made it impossible for average citizens without extraordinary wealth, and/or political connections to own selective fire rifles and carbines, is just as unconstitutional as the 1968 Gun Control Act and the poorly written 1986 freeze on full-auto. The gun community should stop accepting these enactments as divine edict rather than politically motivated infringements. There are 300 million guns in the US. No one can destroy or round them up. Does anyone ask why so many people are totally disturbed these days? We even see it in the comment section of a web site devoted to song parodies. Scary.

Turns out the gunman was only carrying a shotgun and killed two security guards and grabbed their weapons. And it was the security guards' weapons that were used to kill most of the other victims. But of course, these FACTS don't stop our resident trolls from jumping the gun and spewing their hostile, uninformed opinions -- which are barely concealed expressions of hate and bigotry and intolerance for those whose opinions differ from theirs .... Which is odd, seeing as how these people claims to be paragons of tolerance and open-mindedness
Rob Arndt - September 18, 2013 - Report this comment
I had to laugh when I heard the first CNN reports of an AR-15 shotgun!!! Sorry, but the closest designation to that would be the Franchi SPAS-15 semiautomatic shotgun of the 1990s (a modified SPAS-12 with tubular 8-mag replaced by box 6-mag with option of manual pump or semiautomatic fire). SPAS-12= 24 rpm and SPAS-15 is 30 rpm! Anyway, the impression was of an AR-15 rifle again in 5.56x45mm. I guess since it was a shotgun, not much to debate or fuss about. Shotguns are basically for home defense and hunting. I don't see this as warranting a new gun debate.
