The Lyrics

Just when you thought TBS is NOT a safe place for CBS sitcoms!
They showed up on my TV on the superstation, though
Some shows are kinda worthless, tell me, how else you'll know?
Some are a little too hot for Cable TV, leaving you much paralyzed
You think that cable TV is worse, UPN-wise, so you will totally not believe your eyes, oh my

Attack of the CBS sitcoms airing on TBS
Yes, Dear is still just here, Mike O'Malley's got nothing to really confess
Dear, oh dear, you oughta see reruns
Where there's something funnier than some stupid puns
Attack of the CBS sitcoms airing on TBS

Too many Everybody Loves Raymonds are now giving me a headache
I wish that show must be removed there, 'cause it sucks, for Doris' sake
For there wasn't a cable network that had the "CBS" name attached to it
If TBS was just renamed "CBSX", then I would just rather be throwing a fit, now.

Attack of the CBS sitcoms airing on TBS
The King of Queens are worth something really fond of off-the-wall humor, I guess
Is Becker on today?
Can you watch that everyday?
Attack of the CBS sitcoms airing on TBS

Well well, sick of those Raymonds, even worse than ever
Wednesday's the worst day of the week
I cannot stand it no more everyday
I may not be turning into some kind of freak
Well you waste any time watching Drew Carey
Instead of Kevin James and Anthony Clark
You really love CBS, don't watch TBS
"Don't ever think about it." I'd remarked now

Attack of the CBS sitcoms airing on TBs
Can't stand this no more, unless I have to hide myself at a local CVS
Dared to see reruns
Of Yes, Dear and King of Queens? Is that fun?
Attack of the CBS sitcoms airing on TBS
Hey, Mac, you gotta turn your back
If you think you hated TBS
Well, well, don't like that
Attack of the CBS sitcoms, airing on, airing on TBS

Does "Saved By the Bell" count?

Saved By The Bell is NOT a CBS show. It was aired on NBC, though.

Yeah, I should Wikipedia these things a bit more often. btw, I've noticed that you seem to be getting low parody scores lately. What's up with that?

Ah, yer pacing is slightly off in a few places. I do enjoy the irony, though...TSB writing about TBS! As for the parody.........not one of your best, sorry.
girlypink66 - October 14, 2015 - Report this comment
As mentioned above, Saved by the Bell is currently created by NBC Universal as does The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. I know that "Fresh Prince" is one of the trademarked properties of Warner Bros. Entertainment due to it being on TBS.
