The Lyrics

I was one of the few people who fell for Chucky's April Fool's prank. I was hoping Weird Al Yankovic was gonna perform one of my classic parodies: "Rice-A-Rona," "Gilligan's Island," "The Pong Song," or "Smells Like Camp Granada." I feel so gullible.
Ha ha ha ha

I heard some great news on Amiright, about our parodies
Feel like I'm dumber, oh, more believable than my "news" on Britney
I was tense, thought it was true, Weird Al's singing my send-up, right?
The comments gave the answer
Oh, I fell victim to an April Fool, -ool, -ool

I fell for April Fool's, baby (oooh)
Al sings my parody? Maybe (oooh)

Well, I know it hurts more than "Ow!"
My heart completely sank
Oh, how I wanted Al to sing my spoof
Fell victim to a prank!
I didn't find out till the third
And then my head started to spin
Well, I just wanted to party
While Weird Al sang my parody, yeah, yeah

Got fooled April Fool's, baby (oooh)
I fell for April Fool's, baby (oooh)

**Some other guy**
Yeah right, Chris--that sucks
It could have been anybody's spoof:

Like "Every Toe Has Its Corn," that parody makes us all laugh until we bawl;
Or a "Toxic" send-up
Or your parody called "Rice-a-Rona," a spoof that can't be beat

"Gene, Ace, Pete, Paul"
Or Maybe something by Floyd's Garage, played to some millions of people
You should have seen your face when you read the news, found it out as a cruel prank
You thought your Britney one was better
Now, who'd really want old Britney remaking Pink Floyd songs?
Or the Breakfast Club!? Huh?
**

Don't know what I was thinkin' of
I guess the stars were in my eyes
Well, it could have been old Ashton
That Punk'd guy pulling pranks on me, -e, -e

Al sings my parody? Maybe (oooh)
I fell for April Fool's, baby (oooh)
Goofed up on April Fool's, baby

a parody about amIright from a regular submittor with almost no votes and no comments... wow, that has to be a first

Hmm, don't know how I missed this one, either. Glad I was looking through the 'latest comments' page and found it. Very nice work.

You were very creative with this parody and thanks to Chucky G who told me about the April Fools headline.

I totally fell for it, too. I didn't know until I saw the comments. Oh, the humiliation...

Yeah, Chucky's at it again, but this time, he says that Ctrl-W activates an IQ test. Actually, it closes the window, so DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!! Anyways, the comment system has been redone for some reason. What's up with that?
