Good one, Jeff-555! Regarding "videos don't lie", this is technically not 100% accurate. Videos often do not show the entire incident start to finish, so you get a forced perspective. Also, seeing is not necessarily believing. The old 4 witnesses on corners viewing a car crash tend to result in 4 versions of the crash. People watching videos of controversy tend to see what they want to see in the end. Even the victim shot 16 times on video is not clean cut. The officer responded to the threat of a man with a knife walking in the street, approaching officers. He exited his vehicle and felt a threat, so he double tapped him and the suspect fell to the ground. That can be justified. But then the officer emptied his mag into the slumped body which is murder. Other videos show not only the shootings of suspects, but also reveal non-compliance. So for many minorities that yell " Racist! "... they choose to avoid the compliance part which would have saved most of these lives. Videos are part of any investigation, but they may not offer 100% proof of criminality.

In case anyone is wondering how I can speak with any authority about such matters... I come from a family of military, Intel service, police and ranger work. Best thing to do when in a bad situation with the police is to remain in place with hands visible and comply with any demand (even unreasonable to you). Compliance is better than death anyday and you can always sue afterwards. Running, struggling, being disobedient and aggressive can get you killed. Why do cops use so many rounds and why not target arms and legs? Because they are trained to tap center mass for maximum effectiveness in taking down a suspect that may be high on drugs or adrenaline. The cops get tensed and pumped with adrenaline too in confrontations. So with a reduced 2.5 lb trigger pull and 15+1 loaded tend to blow through the mag in a panic. It takes mere seconds and those private citizens that aren't used to gun controls at pop up ranges do the same thing. I've gone through such live fire ranges and its easy to discharge any firearm in rapid succession. I don't fear cops because I speak their language and same for military and Intel. I also keep up on US and European military journals. That is how I am able to project what inventory arms Russia and others are deploying to the Middle East and outcomes. US has sent F-22s from Alaska to Syrian skies. Guess what? Flankers have them at bay and the Russian bombers are doing more than all the other AFs combined! Only 50% of all US bombers are even flight worthy! That's why we've seen only a few B-1s in action. The Su-24 shot down by Turkey was jumped from behind, two against one. Had it been a Flanker, the Turk F-16s would have fled, even if it had strayed into their airspace. All Russian strike aircraft are now protected by top cover and the S-400s can swat Allied aircraft out of Syrian airspace with ease.
