The Lyrics

Noldor calling to the faraway lands
Now war is declared, and fate is on our hands
Noldor calling to the Nations of Men
Edain are needed, the war horn calls again
Noldor calling for the Sindar of Woods
Phoney petty squabbles have to end for good
Noldor calling, see we armed to the teeth
And we will fight Orcs until our last breath-e

The Dark Lord is coming, the Orcs zooming in
Melkor expected, the world is just his ring
Balrogs are burning, but we have no fear
'Cause Noldor are calling and last fight is near

Noldor calling to the lands of Aman
We need your help, both the Elf and the Man
Noldor calling to the powers of West
Quit holding out, and put the curse now on rest
Noldor calling, and we just wanna shout
Our kingdoms are in ruins and we're barely holding out
Noldor calling, see we are in distress deep
The one to blame is - you know who is that creep

The First Age is ending, the Men coming thin
Earendil sailing, he's got Silmaril
The Noldor in distress, and we need your aid
Cause Morgoth is winning, and we live in a peril

Now get this

Noldor calling, yes, please, be here, soon
Teleri and Vanyar, under light of the moon
Noldor calling, it's distress we are in
After all this, will you let evil win?
Noldor calling...

We've never felt so much a plight....

Great job! It's been forever since I read the Silmarillion, but I do remember bits of the history.

Silmarillion is one of my all time favourite books, and while it is less well known than LoTR, it IMO deserves its fair share of parodies.
