Parody Song Title:

"Muslims"

Parody Written by:

Red Rebel

Updated for a new enemy---who's not Saddam Hussein.
In Europe and America
There's a growing feeling of hysteria
Conditioned to respond to all the threats
In the rhetorical speeches of the terrorists
Mr. Hussein said "What the hell'd I do?"
I don't subscribe to this point of view
It would be such an ignorant thing to do
If the Muslims love their children too

How can we save our little ones
From Osama bin Laden's loaded gun?
There is no monopoly of common sense
On either side of the political fence
We share the same biology
Regardless of ideology
Believe me when I say to you
I hope the Muslims love their children too

There is no historical precedent
To put words in the mouth of the President
There's no such thing as a winnable war
It's a lie we don't believe anymore
Mr. Dubya says "We will protect you"
I don't subscribe to this point of view
Believe me when I say to you
I hope the Muslims love their children too

We share the same biology
Regardless of ideology
What might save us, me and you
Is if the Muslims love their children too
Good thing I used "terrorists" instead of "towelheads" to rhyme with "threats."

Red Rebel...although your sentiments are worthy, and the OS fits in perfectly with the current global political climate...this doesn't count as a parody as far as I'm concerned. 19 lines are exactly the same as the OS. Of the 2 lines that WERE mostly original (yes, just 2), 1 of them was poorly paced. Don't get me wrong: I can see what you were trying to do, but it requires a lot more effort than you've displayed to even make the warm-up bench, parody-wise. I won't vote on this. Sorry.
