Excuse me, but the original was a hit for me and my band in the 70s. tisk tisk.
i never get any famous people commenting on my parodies. maybe i should purposely get a decade wrong sometime to make sure i get some celebrity recogntion since apparently everyone whose ever had a hit song hangs around amiright to check for decade problems

Lionel - was surprised this had no votes so for even though it's been up almost 3 week now. I think it's pretty darned good. I gave it 5-4-5 and it might have been straight 5's except "the donald (lower case usage here on purpose) as a topic only amuses me to a certain point. Folks who know Steve Miller songs ought to check this one out.
