| Parody Written by: | Dennis |
Nightmare musical introduction, seems to conjure vincent price - or, perhaps, dreckula himself. The music is too hopeful to go with the words. Already a creepy song.... But not creepy enough...
The light at the bar, my alcoholic denial,
The judgement is coming, my next looming trial,
A river of booze shouts, I'm too wasted to hear,
The oncoming herd of pink psychotic deer.
The nightmare comes to life around me with flashing pink shadies,
Violent delirium, their horns goring, these deer ain't ladies,
Yeah!
No more beers.
The episode passes as dark night floods in,
Emergency room light shines bright on my 'sin',
Mobs of photographers, the paparazi rush ever on,
A dazed sense of heartache, then weeping comes with the dawn.
Here.
No more beers.
The room crashes over with a flaming eruption,
A pitched battle rages, an inhuman disruption
A sizzling fuse wipes out the public's dismay,
My lifetime of dishonor, erased in one day.
I never wanted to leave you hanging loose, my darling,
Alcohol's curse is best endured alone by those failing,
here,
No more beers.
The judgement is coming, my next looming trial,
A river of booze shouts, I'm too wasted to hear,
The oncoming herd of pink psychotic deer.

End notes: the last stanza leaves the matter in doubt as to where our lonely drunk finds himself. Is he dead, or did he just go somewhere?
