The Lyrics

after nuclear fall-out in the future should people stop partying? Well... eventually, but one last blow-out maybe necessary. Farewell Earth!
Verse 1: The world’s all dust, been nuclear blown
Better get those lead pants over your no-nos
World’s blown up, still somewhere to go
Throwin’ on my lead pants, party still goin’
Waitin’ for an invitation to arrive?
Who is gonna take it? The mailmen have all died!
Wonderin’ if all humanity has been fried?
Headed to a party where fun has still survived

Chorus: World was burnt to ashes, most lie in the dirt
So Earth’s dead or something? Tonight we’ll still twerk
At the lead pants party, Jaeger bombs and more
Not that type of bomb guys, you can get up off the floor
Bring your Hazmat suit or breathe no more
Don’t run away it’s not THAT kind of bomb!
Not that bomb…

Verse 2: All dressed up, but starting to glow
Human glow stick dance craze (oh, some dance craze)
Oooh waiting for the nuclear fall-out to subside
Yeah, though I love these lead pants (lead pants, lead pants)
Nuke hot women, hazmat ass
Luscious lovely kissing through Plexiglass
Now that I’m thinking, wanting to cry
Can’t remove her lead pants or we die!

Chorus: All mankind has perished, can’t let that defeat
Rockin’ out beeps, got that Geiger counter beat
Have a lead pants party
What else can we do?
Everybody coming here will all soon perish too
Lead pants party, it’s just stuff to do
So come and play, it’s all we need!
Don’t be afraid, it’s preconceived
Don’t fight the flame, it’s burning me…
Don’t be afraid, we’ll soon be free

[Instrumental Break- Lead Pants Party Montage more and more guest fall victim]

Chorus: Seems this party’s winding, feel it closing near
All the guests are leaving, guess the end is here
The last lead pants party
One last big soiree
Everybody’s gone now, their bodies just melt away
While my body and soul still party!
That music plays for only me!
I’m not afraid, will join their party
I’m on my way, I’ll bring some cheese
I’m not afraid, cuz I can see…

Outro: It’s only me…
Yes only me…
But soon won’t be…
Only me, only me, only me…

No reason for this to be 1-bombed. Maybe they didn't find the subject matter funny must be said, though, nuclear holocaust comedy kinda went out with Glasnost (although now more of the bad guys seem capable of pushing the button).

I absolutely LOVED this parody! Sure the topic is a little grim, but if you balance a topic of the aforementioned nuclear holocaust with a incredibly upbeat/catchy tune and ridiculousness of a "lead pants party", it totally works. I loved the "can't remove her pants or we'll both die" line...excellent job!

Reminds me of an old episode of Family Guy when the Y2K meltdown hits at New Year's Party, then it turns out to be a dream in the end anyway.

This one really blew up! It's like the non-holiday version of "Christmas at Ground Zero" and with that being one of my favorite Al songs this is honestly one of my favorite of yours.

(Artistry) Refreshingly morbid yet darkly hilarious, perfect for October! 555 rounds on me! Not rounds of drinks, rounds of bullets for the radiation mutant party crashers.
