The Lyrics

Online crowdfunding campaigns: a real risky business with little middle ground. It's either "Campaign raises six squillion dollars in two minutes" or "Mighty No. 9 sure was a thing that happened". Guess which is more fun to write about?
Ooh-oh!
N-N-N-N-N-N-No!
Oh!

When I'm online, most times I see
Minds all blown apart from awful greed
A farce, a farce, Kickstarter farce
Never been a problem, at least for me
'Cause I've not signed on for those, you see
A farce, a farce, Kickstarter farce
Ooh, might sound like a jerk
Ooh, but it's pretty sound

Whoa, yeah
Kickstarter farce, I won't take part
Whoa, yeah, crazy
Whoa, yeah
Kickstarter farce, lot that can go wrong
Whoa, yeah, crazy, yeah

Won't get charged until the final stage
That's still holdin' money hostage in a weird way
A farce, a farce, Kickstarter farce
Still would be pausin', pausin' my whole life
Can't spend cash that both is and isn't mine
A farce, a farce, Kickstarter farce
Yeah, don't want budgets jerked
Yeah, yankin' me around, 'round, 'round

Whoa, yeah
Kickstarter farce, there's much worse parts
Whoa, yeah, crazy
Whoa, yeah
Kickstarter farce, hope nothin' goes wrong
Whoa, yeah, crazy

Ooh-ooh-hoo-ooh
Kickstarter farce
Delays can be had, might be needed
But it can be pure crap
An excuse to run away with cash
And who's to say that the thing they'll make
Will work a damn? Hard to make games
When all that you care 'bout is cash
I say, ooh-ah
Kickstarter farce, it's a risky shot
Great success? Or just a big pile of rot?

Whoa, yeah
Kickstarter farce, some should not start
Whoa, yeah, c-c-c-c-c-c-crazy
Whoa, yeah
Kickstarter farce, such a mighty flop
Whoa (uh, uh), yeah (uh, uh), crazy

Whoa, yeah
Kickstarter farce, dare you take a shot?
Whoa, yeah, crazy
Whoa, yeah
Kickstarter farce, I won't take part
Whoa, yeah, save for some GoFundMe cause

No part
Kickstarter farce

Seven years after my previous Mötley Crüe parody, I finally get to spell the name right! Not just with the umlauts, I put it as "Motely Crue" that first time. Dunno how that happened, given my mastery of the copy-n-paste.

Okay, maybe I did put it in right last time and it got turned into Motely Crue in the approval process. Kinda like how they capitalise the song titles that are meant to be all lowercase...sometimes. Well, there goes my jubilation, I guess.

Wow, baby! My favorite Crue song.and you did a great rewrite of it. When I hear the original Motley Crue song in my car (with that guitar 'motorcycle' sound), I turn the volume up to the MAX (which is 45 un my machine). And as for your subject matter, we all know about the rip-offs, ranging from stealing support money for a child who doesn't has cancer, to buying a fresh bundle of spankee pants for a terroristic excuse of a President we all know about. Kudos!
