Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Windows XP"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

It's close to midnight and something is lurking in a email
Under Bil Gate's seduction, you see sounds that almost stops your DVD
You try to format the drive but the computer crashes
You start to call the support line as a virus grips the boot sector
You're a victim of upgrading to XP

'Cause nobody uses Windows 95 anymore
And no one will help you use Win 98 any longer
Strike
You're ruining your website while you get a CD to eject, in XP
On Friday the 20th

You hear your invoice is void and you realise it was for the Windows XP package
You picture the bootup process and if Steve Jobs will take your Mac
You close the program and hope we won't delete it in...
Windows XP
But in a while, you play Impossible creatures
with a Geforce FX
Game over

'Cause nobody uses Windows 95 anymore
And no one will help you use Win 98 any longer
40 GB Hard drive
You're ruining your website while you get a CD to eject, in XP
On Friday the 20th

[Bridge]
Bill Gates sends a IM to you
And he says to you to upgrade to XP now
There's no escapin' the upgrade now
(It's not very easy)
This is the end of Windows 98

He's out to get you, there' s discs arriving from Israel
The upgrade will remove Windows 98 unless you change to NTFS
Now is the time for installing Windows with the number nearby
All thru the night drive light flicker and files are being written by the millions
I'll activate it for you

'Cause nobody uses Windows 95 anymore
And no one will help you use Win 98 any longer
40 GB Hard drive
You're ruining your website while you get a CD to eject, in 98
On Friday the 20th

[Rap]
The screen blanks
The 7am school bbus is close to your house
You start to catch the bus while Windows XP isn't ready
To connect to the Web
And Whosever CD are found
Must make sure they install it correctly or have a corrupt HD
And install Windows Media player 9
The activation end in sight
The funk of 90 minutes installation
And the success of installation
Are reaping benefits
And though you can't refuse to install Works
Tour computer logs in-you can't believe
For installing Flash MX
To create a killer presentation

What were you thinking????

This parody could have been hilarious had there been a trace of pacing. I can't even follow those lyrics-when I first saw this, I figured you had probably never even heard the song before, because the pacing is so far off. I guess you can say you're lucky that I gave you a 2 in the funny category.

I gave you a 1-2-1, cause it was funny in the sense that I was laughing at how bad this is. I mean, this is worse than abysmal, this is Green Bloodied Hound Dogs bad, and that says a lot.

How bad this is-exactly why I gave it a 2 in how funny it was. For good parodies, consult the following: Guy DiRito, Spaff.com, Phil Alexander, William Tong, Malcolm Higgins, Claude Prez, and even myself. For not-so-good parodies, consult the following: John Spoof (almost all the time), Green Bloodied Hound Dogs (all the time).

This song is a bit funny, but, are you sure that this is "Thriller?" You sort of lost me with the pacing.
