Recently, my ratings have been more or less mediocre. Hopefully, this one will make you all laugh out loud. Parodying Michael Jackson’s hit single, “Bad,” I attempted to make it mostly humorous for you guys. My inspiration for this song is Sonic the Hedgehog, my favorite video game character. I first connected MJ and Sonic together when I found out that Michael put some of his own music in for Sonic 3. So, why not make a parody where Sonic roasts everyone? Hope you like it! I liked it. When you do a parody involving a video game character--or any fictional one, for that matter--there's always a fine line between writing specifically about the characters at the risk of turning off readers who don't know anything about it(like your Mega Man parody was with me--but I wasn't alienated and loved it), or being too vague that no one knows what its about. Without your intro, this falls into the latter category. It wasn't very specific about Sonic so it might not make sense to some people, but you had a really funny line about paying the taxes way before they were due.
