I'm with ya in terms of subject, but the pacing was off and the structure could use some tightening. Keep working on it. Try to phrase your parody like the original phrases it's individual lines. People who come to see your parody will find it easier to read along if you do that. Good luck. Also liked the line:
"You hear a goomba creepin' up behind
I'm outta time"
